The last few months have been a little bit of a whirlwind. I've been busy planning out shoots for the summer, editing and releasing TWO novels, the first two in my fantasy series A Chronicle of Crowns (now available through Amazon as an ebook and a paperback) as well as a photography and poetry book, Transcendence (which can be found on lulu), starting a YouTube channel, and getting to know some other indie authors and reading some of their work. Not to mention the day to day goings-ons of life.
But I recently took part in a Webinar about growing your audience and expanding your reach, and it emphasized the use of a blog. I've been wanting to take my blogging to the next level, to feature poetry, photography, art, and writing, not only my own, but others in my area, and eventually world-wide. I've always been an artist myself, I started out writing little books when I was a child, from a visit to Big Al's a local fish store, to animal rescue adventures with friends of mine. I was obsessed with writing and illustrating my works, and it's something that I've carried over into my adult life. When I was putting together my first two fantasy novels I did everything from the maps, to the cover art, to character cards (which will be available for purchase soon). And I'd like this blog to be an outlet (yet another) for my creative endeavours. From book and movie reviews, to creative tips, to projects I'm working on.
But I'm not the only one in this beginning stage of their artistic career. I know a lot of talented artists and individuals with unique work, and I'd like to feature some of them as the blog grows and develops.
